Market HR Lead (Spanish, English)

Mexico City, Mexico

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
  • Experience in HR in two of the following areas: organizational design, succession planning, business consulting, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience leading and implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management/mitigation and supporting change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.

You'll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and own the Mexico Market HR plan, informed by the Google People Strategy, driving consistency and scale across the Product Areas and sites in Mexico while addressing the most critical and unique needs of Google in the market.
    • Connect internal and external stakeholders involved in the Market's success, and serve as key business partner, coach, and advisor to the Country Manager and site leaders.
    • Build partnerships across People Experience and with Employment Legal, HR Compliance, Labour and Employee Relations, Global Search Services (GSS) and internal communications to create forward looking solutions that are Mexico specific, and will allow issues to be resolved in a timely manner.
    • Mitigate risk by serving as a market representative focused on regulatory and compliance changes inclusive of local laws which may have a negative impact on Google.
