Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineer.
- 8 years of experience developing manufacturing test solutions for PCBAs.
- Experience developing or integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing and instrumentation and using Python for automation.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing test and software development using Python.
- Experience creating manufacturing test strategies from structural through functional and system tests.

Google's custom-designed equipment makes up a large and powerful computing infrastructure. The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this physical infrastructure.
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will evaluate the product designs and create the manufacturing test processes, tools, and procedures behind the products powering Google's data centers. You will ensure manufacturing test processes are repeatable and controlled. You will collaborate with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to determine Google's infrastructure needs and product specifications. You will also ensure that the various pieces of Google's infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing test development for new and existing product designs. Architect and write test software to drive test coverage based on product and quality requirements.
- Develop automated test scripts for functional and system test using Python.
- Design, build, and deploy test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures.
- Define the Manufacturing Test Strategy for new products and works with our partners to jointly develop the required test solutions.
