Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • Experience with abuse, spam, malware, or fraud detection and investigations in the internet industry.
  • Experience in satellite communication or wearable device development.

    Android and Business Communications (ABC) mission is to help people and businesses connect on any device across messaging and voice through Google Messages and the Google Phone app. ABC is an organization that supports consumer mobile communications and connectivity apps, services, and infrastructure. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams both internally and across an external ecosystem (e.g., brands, carriers, device makers, channel partners).

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

    Responsibilities

    • Own PRDs by overseeing collaboration with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program managers, UX) during product design.
    • Own and oversee the definition of product roadmaps.
    • Own development and secure a product idea that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
    • Oversee validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business growth).
    • Lead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
