Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or other professional accounting accreditation
- 10 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 8 years with with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience in intercompany and consolidation accounting.
- Experience with SAP or other large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including data flow for consolidation, eliminations and reporting.
- Experience in consolidations, investments, and structured transactions.

Responsibilities
- Manage close activities and present month end results to management.
- Advise on financial reports required by government regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports.
- Identify opportunities to centralize, eliminate, or automate activities.
- Review processes and implement controls to ensure mitigating risk for Alphabet/Google.
- Manage, establish, implement global processes for the accounting of initiatives ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance and operational excellence, and prepare for and assist with internal, SOX, and external audits.
