Hardware Engineer, Hardware and Systems

Taipei, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in board design, validation, and with design tools (e.g., schematic capture, layout tools, lab bring up, and debug).
  • Experience with server, storage, or networking motherboard/system hardware.
  • Experience with high speed design, signal integrity, and power distribution techniques.
Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 8 years of experience with enterprise class hardware systems design, data center engineering, server, storage, and networking products.

  • Experience solving complex system issues, technical innovation, and driving technical roadmap.

    Responsibilities

    • Work on the hardware and system design for Google data center products.
    • Define the server or networking product motherboards incorporating the latest technology.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and cross-functional issues during new product introduction development phases.
    • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, deployment teams, and partners to productize designs.
    • Clear communications with the Google US and Taiwan Platforms teams.
