  • About the job

Quantum AI's mission is to build a large-scale computer capable of complex, error-corrected computations and unlock solutions to classically intractable problems. Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.

As a Hardware Assembly Technician, you will partner with quantum hardware research teams, hardware and software engineering teams, and vendors to accurately and reliably assemble and test our quantum computing technology hardware stack. You will assist Google engineering staff as required with assembly, installation, modification, testing, and maintenance of quantum computing systems. These systems consist of dilution refrigerators (DRs), room temperature control electronics, cabling, and associated peripheral equipment. You will assemble components onto DRs, verify the integrity of signal paths across the hardware stack, and build racks of supporting electronics.
