In this role, you will own the entire stack (from indexing to Fan Engagement (FE)), a suite of products that is still nascent with room for plenty of innovation, and the strategy for the consumer side of the business as well as the ecosystem side (i.e., publisher tools, business generation, etc.). You will lead a team and, actively develop and grow talent through effective mentoring, coaching, and hiring in a highly competitive, growing space.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $278,000-$399,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex and matrixed team in YouTube and partner across team within Google effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, cultivating a mindset that promotes teamwork and innovation across different YouTube and Google teams.
  • Navigate complexities of a matrixed team structure and collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, Business Operations, and Design team.
  • Utilize business sense and leverage collective knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and share goals.
  • Possess an understanding of engineering infrastructure. Be familiar with technical systems, processes, interdependencies, and vulnerabilities.
