Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of industry experience, with 5 years of technical management experience of software developers and technical leaders and architects.
- 15 years of experience in development or operation of routing platforms, or Optical technologies (e.g., equipment vendors, enterprises, telecom carriers, cloud operators, or hyperscalers)
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering
- Direct networking operational experience at a cloud provider/hyperscale service provider
- Experience in distributed computing infrastructure

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $278,000-$399,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Provide execution leadership on projects (e.g., resourcing, prioritization, partner team interlock, and scoping).
- Lead vendor relationship including prioritization of the vendor features, and vendor roadmaps and delivery, and escalations.
- Drive Optical Networking Technology roadmap and solutions including line systems, terminal and client optics, and submarine cable.
- Be responsible for the IP routing platform roadmap and strategy that includes hardware and associated software (e.g., configuration and telemetry, silicon roadmaps, and functional test).
- Contribute to Global Network Technology's (GNT) shared mission as part of the GNT leadership team and work collectively to deliver GNT's objectives and objectives and key results (OKRs).
