Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Candidates will typically have 10 years of experience within consulting sales environment focusing on cloud database.
  • Typically 3 years of experience selling commercial database solutions into enterprise technology accounts.
  • Experience with Database Workload Migration and the commercial and business challenges in moving these workloads to public cloud.
  • Experience consulting on Oracle databases and their related business application ecosystem from both a commercial and technical perspective.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in building customer relationships and strategic advisory.
  • Experience developing and growing C-level relationships.
  • Understanding of executive decision making process and consultative problem/solution positioning.
  • Understanding of the financial and technical issues in managing modern day IT operations at large corporations.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with various functional knowledge.
  • Excellent business (e.g., financial accounting, ROI, TCO, budget planning, organizational design), presentation, public speaking, meeting facilitation, and white boarding skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic account planning with Google account teams and drive adoption ofDatabase Workload Migrations to GCP.
  • Establish working relationships with Google strategic account teams, leadership, and other internal teams to build and progress sales pipeline and opportunities forDatabase Workload Migration, and advise on the options for migration from both a commercial and engaged perspective.
  • Work with counterpart technical specialists to ensure solution assurance sign off of database migrations from both commercial and technical perspectives.
  • Seek to streamline, standardize, and scale your approach to develop new offerings as well as assisting in Return on Investment (ROI)and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)analysis.
  • Coach and develop Google account teams on value promotions forDatabase Workload Migrationin collaboration with Cloud Value Advisors, sharing best practices and elevating strategic mindshare with the accounts.
