Minimum qualifications:

  • Commercial general management experience in technology, advertising, or online industries.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Ukrainian fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience as a people manager, and the ability to influence internally and externally. Experience with cross-functional leadership, and country manager experience.
  • Ability to influence among media, business, and government channels with relationships within the advertising, technology, and startup sectors.
  • Ability to focus and prioritize in a fast growing business environment, driving business performance and business growth.

    As Country Director, you will lead a commercial team. You will be a leader in the cross-functional team and represent all aspects of Google in Ukraine. You will drive how businesses, government, and consumers view Google. Your knowledge of online media and digital combined with communication skills and analytical abilities, will shape how new and existing businesses grow. You will leverage an entrepreneurial drive to educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. You will share the opportunities and challenges of the market, and state the priorities for our products. You will set transparent objectives, collaborate with your functional counterparts, and execute. In this role, you will train and motivate a large team. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore, and uncover the business needs of Google's clients, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business.

    Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as an internal and external representative for Google in Ukraine. Utilize networking in business communities and high-level decision makers.
    • Set business plan and business strategy, and take ownership of driving Google's commercial activities.
    • Manage the Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization in Ukraine. Partner closely with many advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build successful businesses and brands.
    • Deliver business growth, with a focus on large advertisers and ecosystem partners. Align and partner with the Google Cloud business.
    • Represent Google in the market beyond business relationships.
