Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with CAE tools like Abaqus, Ansys, Hypermesh, etc.
  • Experience with license management tools (i.e., OpenLM or similar).
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience delivering support and services in CAE and related applications.
  • Experience in a product development team performing simulation jobs with various CAE tools.
  • Experience with automation using scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, Bash, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Working knowledge in usage of team center application in a product development environment.

    As a Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Administrator, you will be responsible for end-user support and administration of CAE systems (e.g., ABAQUS, Ansys, Ubercloud, etc.) and license servers.

    As a domain expert, you will be responsible for managing Computer-Aided Engineering and simulation tools that include potentially developing installer packages and also maintaining necessary business configurations. You will ensure high quality end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving user issues in a timely manner and documenting.

    You will own the CAE applications including licensing and will collaborate closely with stakeholders regarding management of applications, licensing, automation and efficiency improvements including building future roadmaps.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$156,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Perform as the subject matter expert on commercial-off-the-shelf CAE applications.

    • Support on-premises and Cloud based CAE applications and troubleshoot/resolve daily production issues.
    • Oversee application license management and provide license usage metrics as needed to the business. Monitor application performance via established practices and methods.
    • Participate in discussion related to Hardware/Storage cluster changes with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate changes.
