Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a technology contracting, deal desk, legal, or sales operations environment.
  • Experience in developing, drafting, redlining, and agreements discussions.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience developing agreements (e.g., drafting, redlining, discussing agreements) at a technology firm.
  • Analytical and problem solving experience.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to present analyses/summaries in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ability to critically think and effectively execute on various transactions throughout the business cycle.

As a Commercial Manager, you will analyze opportunities, create business agreements, and execute transactions throughout the business cycle. You will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to Google Cloud's Sales teams in the development and execution of commercial structures for strategic opportunities.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to Google Cloud's Sales Teams in the development and execution of commercial structures for strategic, complex or highly competitive direct and partner-sourced opportunities.
  • Facilitate alignment and communication between Google Cloud's Sales Teams and other internal and external stakeholders to promptly resolve business and contractual issues and foster productive interactions.
  • Support customers, internal and external, with contract interpretation, agreements, and administration of Google Cloud's licensing and service agreements including amendments, extensions, new business, invoicing, receivable issues, and consolidations.
  • Validate all aspects of contractual packages for accuracy and compliance with Google Cloud's Business Practices and approvals process.
  • Cultivate best practices through analyses, projects, and reporting contributing to the continued growth and scale of Google Cloud's field sales operation.
