Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
  • Experience in AI/ML, frameworks, hardware accelerators (e.g., TPU, GPU, CPU), model architectures and workflows, and trends.
  • Experience with Machine Learning infrastructure.
  • Experience with hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).

    As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading product development of Google's core Machine Learning (ML) software products that connect Google models with Google's ML hardware. You will also have the opportunity to engage directly with machine learning-centric first-party customers, Cloud teams, and external industry vendors to identify current and coming trends in ML, then identify and execute on features necessary for continued success.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Develop the strategic idea for components of Google's ML hardware stack, including ML innovations, and delivering performance for internal and Cloud customers.
    • Engage with Google's ML product areas and Cloud's ML-focused customers to inform Google's ML software to identify impactful areas for development.
    • Work with ML hardware NPI teams, customer engineering, and other software partners to ensure roadmap delivers planned NPI and customer impact.
    • Develop partnerships with associated ML software teams, including Core ML Frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, JAX, PyTorch) and Cloud GPU/TPU.
    • Own and set the strategy, roadmap, and implementation for multiple areas of focus balancing priorities against various business needs.
