About the Role

The GoodRx Data Analytics team uses data to improve and automate all aspects of GoodRx's RX Marketplace and Manufacturing Solutions products, as we drive growth, retention, engagement, and sales on GoodRx. We function in a fast-paced, collaborative, and friendly environment. You will work with teams across the organization to provide insights on different areas of the product, design and analyze experiments, analyze consumer behavior, and ensure our data standards, pipelines and processes are held to high standards. Your contributions will help guide finance, product, and marketing decisions.

In general, the day-to-day activities of a lead data analyst may include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to build and improve on the availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data logging and data pipelines
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through effective data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for product development, network expansion, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Develop and implement robust analytical models to assess the performance of GoodRx's products and the behaviors of our customers
  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports to communicate complex data insights to internal stakeholders across various departments (e.g., product, sales, finance).
  • Design experiments and interpret the results to draw detailed and impactful conclusions
  • Foster strong relationships with product managers, finance, operations, and business development teams to ensure alignment between data analysis and business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences, translating insights into actionable business strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years (Lead Level) of industry experience as a Data Analyst or equivalent
  • 5+ years (Lead Level) of experience writing complex SQL in order to analyze large datasets
  • Expert SQL skills, including the ability to write production-quality code with little oversight. This includes an understanding of both:
  • How to write clean and maintainable code that can be extended and maintained by others.
  • How data warehouses function and how to write code that efficiently uses the warehouse's compute resources.
  • Experience in experimental design and analysis and statistical analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to manipulate and interpret data to produce insights and recommendations across large/diverse datasets
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to quickly learn complex domains and new technologies
  • Experience managing inbound requests from multiple sources, prioritizing requests and managing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Bigquery
  • Familiarity with reporting / BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Amplitude
  • Experience with DBT
  • Experience with Healthcare data
  • Experience scripting with python, R
  • Experience using Jira, GitHub
  • Experience working in a compliance driven domain (HIPAA, PCI or others)

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:
$143,000.00 - $229,000.00

New York Office:
$131,000.00 - $210,000.00

Santa Monica Office:
$119,000.00 - $191,000.00

Other Office Locations:
$107,000.00 - $172,000.00
