Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Provide strategic and financial advice to, and develop close relationships with, a wide-range of C-level executives in the industrials sector. Prepare and deliver presentations and pitches to C-level executives on topics including strategic alternatives, capital structure, potential M&A and financing transactions, and industry trends. Perform deep-dive valuations and other financial analyses (including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, merger consequences, comparable companies, and precedent transactions) during buy-side or sell-side M&A or financing processes (e.g., impact of issuing equity, debt, or repurchasing shares) to present to corporates, financial sponsors, and private clients. Analyze accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings and documents, financial projections, and models to support analyses. Draft financing (including bank books, lender presentations, and rating agency presentations) and marketing (including confidential information memorandums, management presentations, and teasers) materials to assist clients in their presentation to potential buyers of the company or their securities and other relevant third parties. Lead all aspects of executing financial transactions, including interacting with client management, or potential buyers, analyzing financial statements, conducting due diligence, drafting financing or marketing materials, and preparing debt, equity, or merger filings and regulatory documents (including SEC-filed documents, press releases, and merger proxies). Attend in-person or telephonic due diligence sessions with senior executives at a company's facilities, or with suppliers, customers, and other related parties to evaluate the veracity of a company's business model and end market, historical and projected financial performance, and other factors. Mentor and train multiple teams of investment banking associates and analysts.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related analytical field such as Management and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related analytical field such as Management and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with Master's OR five (5) years with Bachelor's with each of the following: executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including the sale of a company, acquisition of another company, joint ventures, carve-outs, or spin-offs; executing capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-ons, investment grade and high yield debt or convertible debt offerings; preparing and reviewing complex valuation and financial analysis in transactions including merger model analysis, leveraged buyouts, discounted cash flow analysis, sum of the parts analysis and IPO pro forma analysis; organizing and preparing client presentations to provide strategic advice and deliver conclusions from financial analysis to client management; liaising with senior bankers and product experts in assisting clients with executing complex financial transactions; preparing materials for and participating in financing committee discussions including equity and credit committees for financing transactions; and managing transaction due diligence processes including Q&A process, and coordinating with external advisors, such as tax, accounting and legal advisors and liaising with other investment banks. Prior experience must include three (3) years with each of the following: reviewing, guiding, and coordinating junior professionals' work product; reviewing financial modeling work and preparing presentations for live deals, corporate board meetings, investment banking pitches and client service projects on corporate finance topics including potential acquisition and divestiture targets, and capital structure and capital allocation analysis; and reviewing memorandums required to gain internal approvals from typical investment banking committees. Prior experience must include one (1) year with the following: executing transactions including merger, acquisition, divestiture transactions, and debt and equity financing transactions in the industrials sector. FINRA Series 79 license required.Travel required approx. 10% of the time for client meetings. All travel reimbursed by the Firm.

Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000 - $300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
