How you will fulfill your potential

As the Client Reporting Engineering senior manager, you will be an integral part of the AMD Engineering Ecosystem. We are seeking a dynamic leader who will build up a team to ~40 engineers, will lead the design and software development for client reporting generation and distribution, and will define the forward strategy for a competitive reporting offering for Institutional, Retail, and Private Wealth Management clients. You will manage team leaders across several regions, including New York, New Jersey, Dallas, and Bengaluru. Your initial focus will be leading a program of automation for tracking client commitments, generating and distributing standard and bespoke client reports. Given the criticality of our clients, and our business growth plan that aims to grow our client base, this is a central role in our organization. You will generate ideas and designs for the next generation client reporting platform with a focus on satisfying clients' data needs digitally, as well as best in class integration capabilities for internal and external partners.

Skills and Experience we are looking for

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
• 7+ years combined experience in an Engineering Capacity
• Extensive experience managing senior engineering managers and teams of 8+ engineers
• Requires extensive experience leading global teams, designing and architecting systems and defining product vision
• 5+ years of Java development and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices
• Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects
• Strong creative leader, self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints
• Must have a client and product mindset with experience collaborating with product and/or business managers to propose products and their associate features.
• Experience in delivering high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment and managing junior developers
• Ensure that teams follow best practices for system design and conformance to high standards for coding, testing, system monitoring, debugging and implementation
• Effectively partner with other business and engineering teams to ensure we meet our goals for system integration, application deployment, feed management and reporting
• Ensure systems can scale to handle increasing business volumes, optimize performance and throughput. Good understanding of distributed systems
• Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment
• Experience building and sustaining long-term relationships with clients and colleagues in a diverse global organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong resource and project management skills
