Alternative Capital Markets is a global team with 50+ alternative investment professionals globally working with high net worth individuals and family offices to put together custom private markets portfolios. ACM offers clients a unique platform including private equity, growth / venture capital, private credit, private real estate, hedge funds, co-investments and impact private investing including GS proprietary investment opportunities in the GS Asset Management Division (AMD) and unique, best-in-class open architecture alternatives from external partners. ACM is focused on implementation advice, sourcing, structuring, capital markets, client coverage and investor relations across global CWM alternative investment portfolios. We are seeking for a senior analyst or junior associate to join our team as we continue to build out Swiss and continental European coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help with client portfolio reviews, including alternative portfolio analysis / implementation guidance, as well as provide details on performance attribution and fund commentary
  • Provide details on unique investment opportunities, market commentary and fund updates to both PWM Professionals and external clients
  • Manage / run point on projects related to new business development, strategic planning, product development and other marketing infrastructure/fund registration and set-up issues
  • Serve as a key liaison to other areas supporting PWM including legal and compliance, the Partnership Services Center and other fund servicing teams
  • Connect sales teams internally with product teams in our Asset Management Division
  • Work with the New York and Asia based ACM team on global projects to provide updates on fund performance and various business analyses

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferable in investor relations or private market investment (private equity, hedge funds)
  • Fluency (written and oral proficiency) in German is required
  • Team player with strong initiative and leadership qualities
  • Drive, organization, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Analytical and advance excel skills required
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized individual able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
