JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will be based in Dallas and will work closely with GM teams and interface with stakeholders and internal clients. The role will focus primarily on immigration related issues as well as some aspects of US domestic relocation and international assignments. This includes responsibility for the counseling / co-ordination of senior relocating employees and advising managers and HR colleagues on complex mobility issues. The role will also support various activities such as strategic projects, vendor management, policy and process design, presentation preparation, data/cost analysis, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serve as functional manager and escalation point for onsite immigration vendor team.
• Manage project plans, draft stakeholder communications/materials, execute immigration data reporting, and oversee reporting done by other members of team.
• Serve as key point of contact for Business Partner & Recruiting teams to understand divisional goals, objectives and current projects to assess immigration impact.
• Coordinate and support policy/documentation changes/decisions and updates; track policy suggestions, processes and coordinate analysis/impact, as needed.
• Interface with firm's Employment Law Group and/or Employee Relations advisors on complex immigration matters and keep pulse on latest trends in immigration to assess impact and to ensure continued firm compliance.
• Work with HCM's Global Ventures team on firm deals that require immigration support.
• Partner with the business to determine appropriate mobility package and navigate complex mobility challenges including immigration, tax and relocation issues.
• Some day to day case management of relocations and expatriate assignments including:
• Counseling transferring and repatriating employees on all aspects of their mobility needs including
- Dealing with ad hoc queries
- Generating and reviewing documentation
• Stay current on Mobility related trends & regulations to assess impact and to ensure continued firm compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 4+ years of US immigration / global mobility experience
• Strong analytical skills and highly detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to analyze data and make sound judgments based on firm policies/standards while maintaining compliance with government regulations; also knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexible and pragmatic, when appropriate
• Ability to appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information
• Team player with a strong willingness to learn who is excited to be part of a global team operating across various time zones and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work across multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and strong Excel and PowerPoint)
