Business Unit Overview
Goldman Sachs Services Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an analyst to support the Loan Management function. The Loan Management group resides within the Global Markets Division and supports the Mortgage Trading Desk. Trade Management group within Loan Management is responsible for directing and facilitating due diligence (at both the deal and asset levels) for the acquisition and sale/securitization of residential loan portfolios and ensuring completion of transaction closing requirements. Post trade Loan management is also responsible for the asset management and facilitation of the portfolio's strategies including interacting with third party vendors to manage assets.

Responsibilities
. Management and oversight of mortgage data, including data analysis and data validation.
. Ensure processes that can be automated are identified and streamlined/automated with the help of various automation tools
. Project management for the initiatives driven by the team
. Coordinate with internal departments to develop /enhance processes with the help of automation.
. Communicate and coordinate with various production groups in order to increase efficiencies within the processes by process automation.
. Fulfill ad hoc data requests
. Develop regulatory and business important reporting through automated reporting tool kits
Skills/Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, MIS, data modeling, RDBMS databases and ETL
- 2-3 years of experience in Python coding following OOPS concepts.
- Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
- Technical skills required include SQL, RDBMS databases(SQL Server or Sybase ASE preferred)
- Ability to prioritize workload, and work with Technology to help drive data smart solutions
- Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
- Technical Skills required include creating/building Reports & Data Visualizations
- Must know or be able to learn Excel to an advanced level
- Experience in Python and various automation tools (Automation Anywhere),Instabase, Tableau/SSRS/Qliksense or Alteryx is preferred
- Understanding of databases, data models, and Extraction Transformation Load (ETL) processes preferred.
- Mortgage banking or other financial industry experience preferred
