Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, New York. Remote work permitted 2 days per week within commuting distance of New York, NY. Part of the team that manages the pricing strategy and rate setting for consumer Savings products. Conduct rate sensitivity and scenario analysis to inform the financial impact of changes within the competitive landscape and changes to the macroeconomic environment. Build and operationalize forecasting models to set monthly and annual business performance goals. Coordinate long term strategic forecasting aligning to the product roadmap and funding needs for the firm. Conduct valuation and financial analysis for prioritization of proposed enhancements to existing Savings products and new products on the business roadmap. Identify areas of opportunity to expand profit margins for the business. Measure incremental value generated via marketing campaigns and targeting tests of different customers. Synthesize insights from data analytics into key findings and actionable business items for leadership and key stakeholders. Develop instrumentation and dashboards to track the success of our product and marketing campaigns, monitor business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and operational performance metrics. Conduct competitive analysis to set benchmarks against business KPIs. Enhance customer segmentation framework to measure the lifetime value of customers. Evaluate and monitor A/B tests as part of our test and learn acquisition and retention strategies with the ability to demonstrate statistical significance testing. Leverage business partners, technology, and modelling teams to evaluate new and alternate data sources as well as analytical tools.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, a relevant Engineering degree including Management Science and Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with the following: synthesizing and presenting key insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership; using one or more mainstream programming language including Python, Java, C, Scala, Alteryx, or C++; engineering data visualizations via Tableau, Power BI or similar tools; financial and valuation modeling to interpret financial statements to understand drivers of profitability; and evaluating trends and expectations within macroeconomic environment to apply as assumptions in forecasting and valuation. Prior experience must include one (1) year with the following: quantitative and analytical skills to work with large data sets and Big Data tools and stack including SQL or Hadoop; and working with data models and architecture to make recommendations to enhance data processes within Oracle and Sybase to improve application of data in making business decisions.
Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115,000 - $270,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
