Job Duties:

  • Review business processes and identify opportunities for scalability, improving client experience, providing data insights and surfacing revenue generation opportunities. Assist business sponsors to make informed decision about prioritization based on business cases.
  • Ensure adherence to governance process with focus on continuous evaluation and improvement of strategy and controls, expansion of capabilities, upskilling of team members and partnership with business units.
  • Work on technical projects to automate and streamline business areas using low-code tools, scripting languages, machine learning, workflow tools and OCR technologies by defining problem sets, identifying and developing the right solutions.
  • Enhance and enforce robust SDLC models for low code and high code solutions developed using Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar.
  • Collaborate with other developers to share ideas and showcase deliverables.

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, a relevant Engineering degree, including Engineering Management, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in this area or in a related role
  • Work experience with:
    • End-to-end system design using a combination of low-code and high-code tools and programming language
    • Competency in languages such as Python and SQL
    • Data analysis and integration tools (e.g. Alteryx, Knime), Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qliksense) and workflow tools
    • Building robust and efficient ETL pipelines.
    • Designing and implementing data governance, and SDLC models.
    • Building web crawlers for data analytics and data centralization.
    • Integrating with APIs.
    • Utilizing Git, version control, unit testing, and industry standard documentation methods
    • Holding and moderating technical conversations with technical and non-technical audiences, ability to explain complex problems in layman terms
    • Assessing and improving operations or business processes to improve efficiency, client service and risk profiles

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $60000-$100000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
