RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Role:
The VP IT Delivery and Transformation is a highly skilled and motivated VP that drives successful execution of strategic IT deliverables. This multifaceted position is responsible for the aligned functions demand and capacity management, operational metrics to guide critical technical decisions, generate comprehensive updates to senior management, and will work closely with the finance and resource management teams to manage budgets effectively and allocate resources efficiently. This VP will lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Owners and the centralized group of Scrum Masters for the aligned function. The ideal candidate will be adept in influencing trade-off decisions for IT initiatives and proficient in Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks to help transform our business with incremental product delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and align IT resources accordingly
- Enhance and implement robust processes for demand forecasting, resource allocation, and capacity planning
- Continuously monitor resource utilization and adjust strategies to accommodate shifting business needs
- Provide guidance and support to ensure product backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate effective communication between Technical Product Owners and development teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate alternatives, assess risks, and make informed choices that align with project goals and constraints
- Implement Agile and SAFe methodologies across projects, fostering adaptive, iterative, and value-driven development
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and facilitate continuous improvement within the IT organization
- Interact closely with the finance resources to oversee the financial aspects of initiatives, including budgeting, cost tracking, and expenditure optimization
- Leverage CloudFinOPs practices to manage cloud service costs effectively and ensure budget adherence
- Track operational metrics to quantify the performance and impact of IT projects and systems
- Analyze metrics data to derive insights, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to guide crucial technical decisions
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Proficiency in Agile and SAFe methodologies, coupled with experience in driving IT
- Proven track record in IT program delivery, showcasing successful project execution
transformation initiatives - Firm grasp of IT financial management, including CloudFinOPs principles and implementation
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen ability to influence trade-off decisions based on thorough analysis
- Ability to develop, interpret, and apply operational metrics to inform and drive critical technical decisions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop crisp, concise executive-level communications and materials supporting the respective team's strategic objectives and initiatives
- Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within a large matrix company, see the big picture and drive enterprise first thinking
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to juggle multiple tasks with excellent organization skills and careful attention to detail
Experience:
- Greater than 10 years of progressively responsible experience in IT required
- 7-10 years of management or leadership experience required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience required; master's degree preferred

Compensation: Competitive salary and bonus eligibility; this role is eligible for company vehicle program.
