Treasury Compliance Analyst I

JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:

The Treasury Compliance Analyst I will Support the Cash Management Compliance team in monitoring Cash Management processes and systems for compliance with GM Financial policies, controls and regulatory requirements. The Treasury Compliance Analyst I will support the creation and maintenance of suitable documentation for all relevant processes. In addition, the role will provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

• Maintain Database of procedural documents and job responsibilities for department
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure KPIs are met
• Partner with internal teams to identify potential control gaps and work toward creating efficiencies within a robust governance framework
• Support internal and external Audit inquiries
• Maintain documentation of Controls monitoring

• Desired knowledge of Audit/Compliance
• Preferred knowledge of Banking/Finance
• Robust analytical skills required
• Proven ability to operate in the finance/corporate environment through work experience
• Demonstrated skills in solving complex issues
• Ability to learn and obtain knowledge independently
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• 2-3 years in Audit/Compliance role Pref
• 0-2 years in Finance/Banking Pref
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience Preferred
