RESPONSIBILITIES
Proven expertise in architecting Data Lakehouse solutions, with deep knowledge of both structured (Data Warehouses) and unstructured (Data Lakes) data.
- Advanced data modeling skills across Relational, Dimensional, and Data Vault methodologies.
- Proficient in ERwin or similar data modeling tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks Delta Lake, Snowflake, and AWS Redshift.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture for data storage, particularly in Azure; multi-cloud experience (e.g., AWS S3) is a plus.
- Skilled in designing and optimizing cloud data pipelines for high-volume, efficient data transfer and storage.
- Capable of performing complex data analysis, modeling, and integration across diverse and large-scale datasets.
- Adept at identifying data patterns and relationships across disparate systems.
- Leads the enforcement of enterprise data modeling and integration standards.
- Collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to refine and translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
- Communicates data architecture concepts clearly using diagrams and models for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintains and governs the Corporate Data Model and Metadata Repository.
- Partners with developers and administrators to deliver robust, data-driven solutions.
- Designs and documents enterprise-level data integration strategies across varied systems.
- Brings experience from large, complex business environments.
- Contributes to strategic data initiatives and metadata management efforts.
- Stays current on emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Master's Degree preferred
- 6-8 years of Data Modeling required
- 4-6 years with cloud architecture related to data storage in Azure required, multi-cloud solutions preferred
- Database/ data store design experience with at least three or more years of experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure(preferred) or AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience designing, diagramming and documenting patterns for ETL Development and/or other Data projects preferred
- Experience working within an Enterprise Data Management role including transactional Data, Analytical Data, and Data Governance/ Administration preferred
- Experience with Oracle/ Oracle Exadata or SQL Server a plus
- Experience with Cloud based Data services Azure,Data Bricks Delta Lake preferred
- Experience architecting DevOps automated data pipelines preferred
- Knowledge of Enterprise Data Pipelines leveraging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus preferred
- Experience Architecting solutions for Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics/ Data Science deployments preferred
