The Policy Servicing Clerk will assist the Customer Lifetime and Treasury department in performing general support functions and assisting in the day-to-day mail and treasury operations. This role has contact with customers, other GM Financial departments, vendors, and outside agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

• Prepare correspondence in writing with customers as necessary using specified templates
• Print and prepare customer correspondence for mailing
• Ensure actions are in compliance with policies and procedures
• Document and update the department's reports
• Submit all pertinent documentation to imaging in a timely and accurate manner
• Meet deadlines and complete assigned task and accuracy
• Attend team/department meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Conform with all company policies and procedures

• Basic knowledge of general office procedures
• General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications
• Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgement, and logic related to immediate scope of duties
• Accurate typing, key and word processing skills
• Effective time management skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0-2 years of previous experience in insurance or financial services preferred
