RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Role:
The Regional Credit Manager is responsible for developing and leading a credit team to achieve positive results which align with company initiatives. The RCM interacts with various departments within the company. This position manages dealer relationships, as well as sales and credit team collaboration. The RCM is responsible for adhering to the underwriting policies and managing performance.
- Drives originations and supervises credit team to ensure company objectives are met.
- Organizes credit team meetings and leads team through change.
- Communicates with sales teams and joint markets as needed.
- Manages dealer relationships.
- Solves internal and external issues.
- Manages loan/lease performance through reports.
- Reviews loans and leases for training opportunities.
- Develops a high performing credit team through coaching.
- Communicates industry trends with internal team
- Conducts one on one reviews with team members regarding performance.

- Extensive knowledge of sales, credit and funding processes in consumer finance.
- Extensive knowledge of the retail automobile finance industry.

- Knowledge of motor vehicle retail installment documentation.
- Knowledge of sales, credit and funding processes in consumer finance.
- Knowledge of State regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of the Company's credit policies.
- Working knowledge of consumer credit, credit laws and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
- 2-3 years in the automotive industry Req
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Master's Degree
- Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours including weekends/holidays, occasional overtime or split shifts may be required
- Subject to daily service level requirements.
- Limited travel may be required to support business needs.
- Must be able to deal with stressful office conditions while troubleshooting problems.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle (company, personal or rental) for travelling from one work location to another work site or training location.
