RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role

The Financial Analyst II - Investor Reporting plays a key role in analyzing complex financial data, preparing insightful reports, and supporting investor-related activities. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, asset-backed securities, and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting, while also contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

You'll be part of a team that values precision, innovation, and continuous improvement, and you'll help drive financial transparency and strategic decision-making across the organization.

In this role you will:

  • Analyze moderate to complex financial data, identifying trends and forecasting future performance
  • Prepare detailed reports based on financial analysis and historical data
  • Support the development and refinement of departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by management
  • Stay informed on market trends and developments in the financial industry
  • Navigate and interpret loan agreements and supplemental deal documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC reporting requirements
  • Compile and analyze financial data for investor reporting and presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and deliver accurate results
  • Use SQL and other tools to query data and support reporting needs
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, integrity, and service excellence


QUALIFICATIONS

What makes you a dream candidate?

  • Strong knowledge of finance principles and financial analysis fundamentals
  • Understanding of asset-backed securities structures and cash flows
  • Experience compiling financial data for reporting and analysis
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC compliance requirements
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external collaboration
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with large datasets
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports for accuracy and insight
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred
  • Experience in a financial analysis role preferred
