RESPONSIBILITIES
About the role
The Data Privacy Analyst provides analysis and solutions in support of the Privacy Office. The person in this role will support the Privacy Office's and reports to Data Privacy Manager.
In this role you will:
- Assist in the continued organization and coordination of organizational privacy processes and efforts (Global)
- Assist in the continued development and maintenance of a comprehensive privacy program which minimizes risk and maintain the confidentiality of personal information of consumers and employees and other applicable company data
- Coordinate with GMF business groups and internal shared services (e.g., Cybersecurity, Compliance, IT, Purchasing Data Governance, Legal) to embed privacy related requirements within new and existing processes, projects, and teams
- Support the intake, review, and completion of Privacy Impact Assessments submitted through OneTrust
- Assist in the review and coordination regarding internal processes (e.g., reporting, business-to-business requests, data subject rights requests)
- Assist in managing customer privacy notice revisions and processes
- Provide support regarding the review of potential data incidents or events
- Provide ad hoc support to Data Privacy Managers and other stakeholders as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Experience with US Privacy laws, with focus on financial institution data
- Experience with applicable global privacy laws
- Excellent communication skills including ability to express facts and ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Maintain high level of attention to detail and organization
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with all levels of the company
- Ability to use Microsoft office applications software
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 0-2 years privacy related preferred
