About the role
Our Communication Specialists are writers and editors who share a passion for creating multimedia content that connects with customers, dealers and employees. Our team brainstorms ideas, collaborates with others, develops strategic concepts and crafts meaningful, compelling messages that inspire and motivate our audiences to take action. On any given day, you may be asked to write and edit content in a variety of channels, including, but not limited to: Websites, advertising, news releases, social media, employee communications, video scripts, and executive messaging.
In this role you will:
- Managing the digital signage platform, processing requests, reviewing, and editing posts
- Partner with various stakeholders to create, develop, and execute multi-channel campaigns and communication programs that drive results
- Develop new ideas to support and enhance the department's overall content strategy
- Act as a communication liaison to departments throughout the company
- Demonstrate teamwork to help promote an ego-free, creative culture
- Consistently manage deadlines and priorities for multiple projects simultaneously
- Continually track, measure, evaluate, and improve communication efforts that lead to enhanced customer experiences
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Knowledge of digital communications and/or digital media
- Knowledge of graphic design and/or animated media
- Knowledge and understanding of digital media within integrated communications
- Knowledge of strategic communications concepts, principles and theories
- Written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of AP Style
- Must be comfortable working both independently and as a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Exhibit a strong design understanding, and the ability to think conceptually and take concepts from development phase to execution.
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent professional work experience, in journalism, mass communications, public relations or related discipline required
- 1-3 years of experience in an advertising/marketing agency or a corporate communications/marketing role, including internships required
