RESPONSIBILITIES
About the role:
The Benefits Program Principal is responsible for leading the benefits programming within the global total rewards team. This role focuses on plan operations, compliance, data analysis, plan design, governance, and utilization/cost trends for all global benefit programs.
Plan Operations and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (where applicable), including but not limited to, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Canada
• Manage plan documents, annual filings, and weekly audits
• Coordinate plan renewals, open enrollment, and communication plans
Data Analysis:
• Analyze claims data, utilization patterns, and cost trends
• Deliver dashboards and reporting to senior leadership (HRSLT and E-Team) or exec benefits committee regularly
• Support budgeting and forecasting for benefits plans
Strategic Plan Design:
• Benchmark plan offerings against markets
• Evaluate and recommend plan changes for competitiveness and cost-effectiveness
• Support multi-year strategic benefits planning
Vendor Relationship Management:
• Serve as day-to-day contact for benefits vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

- Expertise in global benefit program compliance and strategies/designs.
- Expertise in retirement plan designs and global schemes as appropriate.
- Understanding of impact on all total rewards programs as a whole.
- Ability to analyze program effectiveness.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and familiarity with global workforce trends
Experience
- Bachelors Degree Required
- 3-5 years management experience
- Global experience in Benefits Strategy
- 5-8 years direct experience in benefits strategy
