The AVP Product Management-Pricing will be at the forefront of deploying innovative loan and lease programs that drive profitability and growth. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with IT to manage code deployments and business teams to implement business logic and ensure compliance with credit scoring, pricing, and credit risk policy. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a solid understanding of both credit risk assessment and pricing strategies in the auto finance industry, as well as expertise in IT change management policies and procedures. In this role, you will manage a talented team of analysts, collaborating with various departments and cross-functional teams to achieve our ambitious company objectives. Your work will have a significant financial impact, as the system you manage will be essential to the success of GM and GM Financial. RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing, maintaining, and optimizing code within SAS Viya to support credit scoring, pricing, and credit risk policies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to deploy and implement solutions that align with strategic goals.
Implement and monitor business logic in SAS Viya, maintaining efficiency and reliability across processes.
Following and supporting IT change management policies, conducting thorough testing, documenting, and approving of code deployment.
Continuously monitoring, reviewing, and improving existing processes and workflows to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Serving as a subject matter expert on SAS Viya applications related to credit risk, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.

Analyze complex issues, apply financial analysis, and use sound judgment to make strategic decisions that balance long and short business goals and objectives
Translate broad strategies into specific actions plans, utilizing existing resources and information to achieve strategic objectives and improve business results

Coach, mentor and assist team members to establish a consistent level of quality, accuracy, compliance to departmental standards, State and Federal regulations, and internal controls
Perform cost analysis when assessing the need for system enhancements or change in department processes
Prepare and present quarterly business reviews to key executive stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and experience with coding best practices.
Strong knowledge of IT change management procedures, including version control, documentation, and deployment protocols.
Proven track record of effectively implementing business logic and data analysis techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, balancing business requirements with technical capabilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in the auto finance industry is highly desirable.
Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Advanced knowledge of Agile techniques and demonstrated evidence of a servant leadership mindset when needed
Demonstrated expertise in product development process cycles
Thorough understanding of the business principles involved in strategic planning
Project management and/or Agile methodology skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management
Ability to facilitate, coach and guide through influence, inspiration, collaboration and teamwork
Advanced negotiation, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities
Excellent people skills, with an ability to understand and respect diverse viewpoints
Ability to listen and communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing
Work Experience
8-10 years of experience working with IT systems or relevant experience Required
2-4 years experience leading people and teams Required
Experience in credit risk and pricing in a financial or auto finance preferred
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Required
Working Conditions
Hybrid: 3 days in the office
Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours
Must be able to deal with stressful office conditions while troubleshooting problems
