At the heart of our organization is the Dev Enablement team, a dynamic group of platform engineers dedicated to advancing the principles and practices of software development. Spanning across continents, with members working from the US, Uruguay, Ireland, and India, we're not simply creating software; we're engineering solutions that improve speed, efficiency, and productivity throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Job Description

  • Craft golden path templates for Product Development teams, employing robust engineering practices to ensure top-tier quality and security standards.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines on GitHub to facilitate rapid, high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with technical architects, software engineers, and other stakeholders to scale our platform and deliver cutting-edge developer-facing products.
  • Engage with development teams to enhance and refine their software workloads.
  • Design and maintain the tooling and infrastructure necessary for automating release, deployment, and upgrade processes throughout the SDLC.
  • Mentor and guide software engineers, fostering their growth through insightful advice, coaching, and training opportunities.

What you will bring

  • Over 5 years of experience in developing scalable enterprise-level services, platforms, or products.
  • Proficient in at least one of the following languages: NodeJS, TypeScript, Java, Python.
  • Skilled in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) constructs for fully automated infrastructure creation and orchestration, utilizing tools such as AWS SAM, CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud architectures and technologies.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Capable of writing scripts and automation to optimize processes and streamline engineering workflows.
  • Knowledgeable in setting up CI/CD pipelines using technologies like Github Actions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of effectively documenting and presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Add-ons:

  • Prior experience in developer enablement, platform engineering, or DevOps teams.
  • Experience building serverless applications on AWS using NodeJS or Python.
  • AWS Associate certification.
