- Ensure smooth day to day operations of Giant Eagles Enterprise Platforms
- Support automating away as much of the day to day as possible - "Run by Robots" is the goal.
- Contribute to organization wide best practices for monitoring, alerting and incident management.
- Collaborate on ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of solutions. (High Avail, DR test, self-recovery)
- Identify, respond to, and collaborate with support and product teams to assess and resolve production and customer issues and incidents.
- Help deliver new capabilities, services and offerings while working to transition to Infrastructure as Code with an operations focused point of view.
- Participate in Enterprise Change and ITIL processes and collaborate to provide continuous improvement.
- Provide on call, 24/7 support for production systems on a rotating basis.
- Provide subject matter expertise on key software solutions within the team's solution portfolio and remain abreast of the team's entire solution portfolio.
- Remain abreast of industry technical trends and maintain continuous development of current skills to broaden experience across the team's entire solution portfolio and tech stacks.
- Complete management reports, weekly time sheets and status reports completely, accurately and on time.
