Working Student - Resource Planning & Offshore Service Operations (m/w/d)
Job Description Summary
We are seeking a motivated Working Student to support the Resource Manager in enabling efficient and structured resourcing for offshore wind service operations across Europe (Haliade 150 fleet).
The role focuses on planning support, data management, and coordination activities to ensure visibility and accuracy of technician allocation, training status, and operational readiness. The Working Student will contribute to improving resourcing processes, reporting quality, and coordination between internal stakeholders (operations, training, HR) and external partners.
This position provides exposure to offshore wind service operations and resource management in a dynamic, international environment.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Resource Planning & Data Support
- Maintain and update resource planning trackers (technician allocation, rotations, availability, demand vs. capacity).
- Support preparation and consolidation of weekly and monthly resourcing plans.
- Assist in monitoring resource gaps and flag inconsistencies to the Resource Manager.
Training & Competency Tracking
- Support tracking of technician certifications, training compliance, and medical validity.
- Coordinate with training centers to follow up on course bookings and availability.
- Maintain and update competency matrices to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
Operational Coordination
- Assist in preparing planning materials, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support coordination between Site Operations teams and Resource Management (e.g. onboarding status, availability updates).
- Help ensure documentation completeness for technician deployment (training, onboarding, compliance).

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Support data analysis on resource utilization, productivity, and planning efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of planning tools, templates, and dashboards (Excel / Smartsheet).
- Document processes and support standardization of resource management practices.
Administrative Support
- Prepare meeting minutes, action trackers, and follow-up actions.
- Support requisition tracking and general administrative tasks related to resourcing.
Education / Professional Experience
Currently enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) in:
- Business Administration
- Supply Chain Management
- Project Management
- HR / Operations or similar field
Language(s):
- Fluency in English language.
- German and /or French language skills are a plus.
Technical knowledge and skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (mandatory) and PowerPoint
- Structured and proactive way of working
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Interest in renewable energy or offshore wind industry
- First experience in data analysis, operations, or project support
- Experience with tools such as Smartsheet or similar planning tools
