Wind Global EHS Training Strategy and Deployment Lead
Job Description Summary
The Wind Global EHS Training Strategy and Deployment Lead is responsible for the EHS training and learning strategy program deliverables across the One Wind organization (Projects, Services, Fixed Facility, and Offices/Engineering). The role will focus on the integrity and effectiveness of the GE Vernova Wind EHS training programs and processes, policies, and procedures including alignment with the Global Wind and GE Vernova EHS training requirements. Additionally, the role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage Wind EHS training matrices, facilitate the Wind training councils by region, and provide input into EHS content for both digital and classroom training including train-the-trainer support. The role will report to the Wind Global Operations and Center of Excellence EHS Leader and will be responsible for driving excellence across the organization regarding developing consistent and standard EHS training programs and expectations.
This position will also be partnering cross functionally, with both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure all aspects of EHS training programs are both implemented and actively utilized to drive sustainable improvement both in the Wind organization and GE Vernova. This includes but is not limited to integrating new technologies like VR and other immersive digital training programs into the One Wind organization, supporting the management and updates of EHS content into the digital training systems (e.g. DCP, SGS, GE University, etc.), interfacing with the training resources within the Wind business, and providing training and coaching to One Wind personnel on EHS training programs and requirements. Finally, this role will provide input and support the wider Wind EHS team as we work to build one successful GE Vernova team.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop EHS learning strategy and deployment across One Wind.
- Lead the EHS training program and digital tool utilization such as GE Learning / Gensuite DCP globally, coordinating cross-functionally to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
- Apply learning principles in the development of new EHS courseware.
- Drive innovation and excellence with the development and incorporation of new learning technologies in the adult learning setting.
- Manage and deliver leadership training and "train-the trainer" sessions in a variety of formats, for example; both classroom and virtual settings and with simultaneous translators.
- Coach and mentor regional EHS teams to build and deliver a robust EHS training programs.
- Develop regional expertise on managing Learning System and Classroom Sessions according to GEV Corporate expectations
- Remain current with and/or develop necessary understanding of EHS regulations and GEV EHS programs specific to assigned priorities and/or job scope.
- Qualify and maintain approved EHS instructors per topic area across One Wind.
- Partner with One Wind team to ensure appropriate technical and regulatory competency for EHS and operational team members.
- Will lead the strategy to manage employee and contractor records (including training and similar documentation
- Support GE Vernova EHS business operation system (Framework).
- Support the key deliverables and KPIs for the business as it relates to health and safety strategy and effectiveness of the EHS training program.
- Proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with cross-functional personnel.

Qualifications/Requirements
- 5-7+ years' experience with EHS training and strategy programs
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification
- Certified Environmental or Health and Safety professional
- Prior experience in Wind industry and/or energy industry fields
- Significant EHS training experience in a projects/service or fixed facility environment.
- Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
- Knowledge of EHS management systems
- Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Desired Characteristics
- Experience working in or across different GE Vernova businesses
- Experience working with tools or developing training for a VR environment
- Experience in adult learning and teaching principles
- Strong working knowledge of GEV digital training management systems such as: ComplyWorks, GenSuite Applications, DCP/SGS/3S, etc.
- Knowledge of EHS core programs and requirements (regulatory and conformance)
- Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionally
- Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
- Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal in a distributed global business structure
- Field experience in a project / services environment, practical experience in risk management
- High energy, self-starter
- Related EHS expertise outside of primary responsibility, for example, Occupational Safety or Sustainability
- Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) basic safety standard
- Additional language skills
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time
- Remote and/or located in Madrid, Spain, Schenectady, NY or Greenville, SC

FOR US ONLY The base pay range for this position is $129,000.00 - $214,900.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 10%. This posting is expected to close no earlier than November 7, 2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
