Role Summary-

Responsibilities-

• Ability to work effectively under supervised direction.
• Some experience in machining of Gas & Steam turbine repairs (typically acquired though classroom training,
• on the job training, in shop training as a helper). Operates machinery and equipment including but not
• limited to boring bars, lathes, vertical milling machines, drills, hydraulic pumps, chop saws, band saws, laps,
• hones, taps, and a variety of cutting tools.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/work leader.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Works in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to pass all EHS courses and course requirements.

• Machining certificate preferred
• Demonstrated ability to use precision tools including but not limited to outside and inside micrometers, bore,
• gages, depth gages, dial indicators, and measuring scales.
• Proven in shop machining capabilities running Lathe, Mills and Drills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing
• exemplary quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with
• internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently & to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions
• given, prescribed routines and standard acceptable practices.
• Proficient using MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook on laptop computers
• Has achieved a high school diploma or GED.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, and reach with hands and arms.
• Capable of lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs.
• May require working in confined spaces.
• Able to work in a variety of outside and inside environments.
