Tool Crib Technician

Job Description Summary

The Tool Crib technician performs duties to receive, store, locate, identify, maintain, and
issue a variety of tools, gauges, attachments, accessories, other equipment, and
supplies following an established procedure

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
• Receive, arrange, and store tools.
• Locate and issue items.
• Check returned tools and items, and report any need for re-sharpening,
reconditioning or replacement.
• Maintain all required tooling and other records of location and stock-on-hand.
• Initiate requisitions for re-supply of items per authorized min-max level.
• Maintain bins and shelves in a clean and orderly condition.
• Detect and report damaged tooling.
• Lubricate and clean tool room machines.
• May be required to function in a production capacity as needed.
• Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety
guidelines
• Maintain 5s standards.

Required Qualifications
• Ability to lift or carry objects or materials up to 25lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Ability to make quick or repeated movement (holding, reaching, twisting,
bending) with hands, arms, legs, or body.
• May require respirator usage.

Desired Characteristics
• High School diploma, GED, or related work experience

Shift: 6am-2:30pm
