Reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for Test Related activities of instrument transformer business in Clearwater, FL
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to IEEE, IEC and other applicable standards
- Implement final test procedures
- Provide troubleshooting/testing of product features
- Oversees and ensures proper training of hourly workforce
- Coordinate customer inspections and witness testing
- Perform qualification testing for new products
- Maintains a clean work environment
- Evaluate test equipment/procedures to minimize test time and increase throughput while meeting applicable standards - including recommendations on automating equipment and data collection
- Develops and maintains test databases allowing for evaluation of designs and new products as required
- Ensures equipment calibration and maintenance of equipment, including upgrades and replacements as necessary
- Performs design tests as requested and documents results
- Evaluates and commissions new test equipment
- Signs off on certified test reports as required

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree (or High school diploma / GED with 3 years of related experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
