What impact you'll make
Leads a strategic engineering team focused on specific technology process types from machining, coating, welding, fabrication, to assembly. Projects within the team span from concept to operational stability, utilizing standard lean manufacturing principles for the factory. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple organizations to take designs and process improvements into production with a hands-on team focusing on delivering full production ready processes. The Technology and Process Development team will provide technical support and implement continuous improvement solutions for the Greenville Plant to meet the needs of our customers while improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Job Description
What you'll do
- Help support, implement, and continuously improve the one part one process (1P1P) strategy
- Ability to delivery strategic initiatives working cross functionally
- Support and drive technology teams across the factory
- Help maintain the development area for product and process implementation
- Hire and develop talent including direct people management
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy and Roadmap initiatives
- Focal point for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, and new process introductions; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, and supporting run-off of initial production sets
- Manage project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process capability, meeting customer demands and qualifications
- Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing development of manufacturing processes
- Support productivity efforts across the site for cost competitiveness
- Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development
- Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing team on breakthrough initiatives
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent manufacturing engineering experience
- Minimum of 8 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
- Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work off-shift or flexible schedule at times as required by project timelines
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

- Ability to work off-shift or flexible schedule at times as required by project timelines

- This position is 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington Road location

Pay Transparency
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $122,600.00 - $204,400.0 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on or after August 23, 2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
