Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description Summary

Focus on performing tests (eg NDT) and defining controls (eg SPC). Ensure correct alignment with quality requirements. Ensure that manufactured or procured products meet specified standards before they progress to next phase of production or customer delivery. (Verification/Checking) Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Be able to analysis the drawing, process of machining manufacturing.

• Very familiar with machining process and have the ability to optimize the supplier procedures

• Supplier development: Plan and execute supplier development projects in accordance with the units and PL requirements in order to provide the needed supply capacity and quality through competent and high performance world-class supplier

• Supplier performance improvement: Analyze the supplier indicators to ensure the efficiency of improvement actions

• Coordinate with Sourcing, R&D and Logistic, on the information flow sharing about the supplier data in regards to performance, audit, sample homologation plan, NC handling etc.

• External relations: create, develop and maintain business relations and effective communication with European units, in order to benefit from their support

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering

• 5+ years experience in mechanical; the machining is preferred (Production or Quality)

• 3+ years experience as SQE
