As a "Solution Architect - GridOS", you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing solutions allowing our customers to transition to our GridOS solutions.

You will act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring best in class and optimal technical design meeting customer functional and non-functional requirements, project budget and timescale.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design

  • Be responsible, in coordination with the Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager), for interacting with customers to define, produce and maintain optimal design based on customer needs and solution capabilities.
  • Facilitate requirements, design and solutions workshops that capture functional and non-functional requirements from the client, and you will own the design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents), ensure traceability of requirements with solutions proposed.
  • Be responsible for the communication and enforcement of Design to Customer and Key Project Stakeholders.

Collaboration and Delivery

  • Manage involvement of other SMEs (e.g. business analysts, IT / Cybersecurity experts) and make sure their design contributions meet system architecture functional and non-functional requirements
  • Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement in their segment or domain (best practices and reference material - reference architectures, reference solutions)
  • Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering (Return on Experience, product enhancements, reference architectures)
  • Build technical expertise in the field of their segment or domain. Deliver technical consultancy services on demand
  • Coordinate knowledge capitalization and dissemination across the Services & Solution Design teams,
  • Be accountable for activities planning, progress reporting, and completing activities in his scope as per approved budget.

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

  • Previous experience as Solution Architect in a similar domain with strong requirements in term of performance (Real-time monitoring and control systems), availability (24/7) and Cybersecurity (mission-critical systems)
  • Cloud architecture experience (AWS & Azure), experience of cloud and cloud native technologies such as containers and Kubernetes,
  • Strong understanding of microservices design principles, including RESTful services and API development.
  • Experience on systems deployed on on-prem / virtualized environments (Windows, Linux, VMWare)
  • Exposure to iterative product development and program management techniques including Agile, Safe, Scrum, DevOps...
  • Strong awareness of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations, particularly as they relate to critical infrastructure
  • Proficiency in various architecture patterns, such as microservices architecture, event-driven architecture. Experience in selecting and implementing appropriate architecture patterns to meet specific business and technical requirements
  • Understanding of Enterprise architecture framework such as TOGAF, and the ability to apply them in designing and evaluating enterprise architecture solutions
  • Professional English level.

Nice to Have

  • Energy sector / Electric utility Industry domain knowledge,
  • Experience with OT/SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling industrial processes
  • Knowledge of emerging energy industry trends and implications on utility customers (Renewables and DER orchestration, distribution planning, IT, SCADA)
  • Experience in Services - Software Commissioning in OT industry

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset with technical literacy.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
