We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capital Project Delivery Project Information Manager (PIM) to join our dynamic team in a leadership role.
The Project Information Manager (PIM) is accountable for planning, coordinating, and assuring the delivery of Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) scopes on capital projects. This includes ensuring IM and IT deliverables are planned, tracked, and assured across the project lifecycle, from Pre-Front End Engineering Design (Pre-FEED) through to Operations.

The PIM leads multidisciplinary IM/IT functions including Data Management, Document Control, Project Delivery Systems, and Configuration Management, and works closely with Engineering, Quality, Project Services, Program Management, Safety, and Procurement to ensure project outcomes meet schedule, cost, quality, and compliance requirements.
Assignments typically involve single-site, single-country deployments of moderate complexity and risk, such as individual BWRX-300 units, with responsibility for integrating IM/IT execution into the broader project delivery framework.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
As the Senior Project Information Manager, you will support the BWRX-300 Project Delivery in the following manner:
- Develop, implement, and manage IM and IT strategies for assigned capital projects, ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory, and business objectives.
- Lead the execution of project-specific delivery plans, including but not limited to the Project Information Management Plan, Project Information Security Plan, Project Information Handover Specification, and Project Engineering & Document Numbering Specification.
- Translate client contractual requirements into actionable IM & IT execution plans, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance.
- Coordinate the integration of IM and IT systems, applications, and workflows within the project execution environment.
- Ensure robust configuration control of documents, data, and systems to maintain accuracy, integrity, and traceability.
- Monitor and report on IM and IT delivery performance against KPIs, including client satisfaction metrics, and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Conduct assurance reviews for Discipline Delivery Plans (DDPs - scope definition documents) and Cost, Time, and Resource (CTR) plans in coordination with the appropriate Technical Authorities.
- Act as the primary liaison for IM/IT with Engineering, Project Services, Quality, Program Management, HSSE, and Procurement.
- Support mentoring and capability development of IM and IT Leads within the project team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of IM/IT experience, with at least 5+ years in EPC capital project execution (preferably nuclear).
- Demonstrated delivery of 2-3 capital projects from Pre-FEED through Operations (end-to-end), with Total Installed Cost (TIC) of USD $3.5B+..
Eligibility Requirements:
- For the United States the preferred work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Nuclear Energy Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
- For Canada this role requires working two days a week onsite in the Markham Ontario office.
- For Canada GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience managing multidisciplinary IM and IT delivery teams in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows, data governance, and project controls.
- Working knowledge of contractual structures, IM/IT scope definition, and integration points
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with application in capital project delivery.
- Certification in Change Management (PROSCI or equivalent) with application in capital projects or large-scale business process change.
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) certification or equivalent experience in model-based delivery.
- Ability to translate client contractual requirements into actionable IM & IT execution plans that align with governance, scope, and delivery objectives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and performance-based client relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with nuclear quality requirements and relevant industry standards, including ISO 19650 (BIM), JIP33 (Standardizing Procurement Specifications), and JIP36 (CFIHOS).
- Proven ability to apply capital project IM and IT standards to contractual handover requirements, governance processes, and assurance frameworks.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in IM, IT, and leadership disciplines.

For the United States
The base pay range for this position is $120000 to $170000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Friday September 5th.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
