Responsible for providing financial visibility, planning, analysis and managing the wing-to-wing process for ONW and OFW Nacelle CAPEX domain at GEV Wind. In-depth understanding of key business drivers in Manufacturing, Finance & CAPEX management; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Finance partner & enabler for operational teams (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Engineering etc.).

  • Responsible for the capital allocation, pacing, forecasting & reporting activities of CAPEX spend and cash for all plants producing Nacelles (ONW and OFW).
  • Finance partner to Nacelle producing plants in order to achieve a yearly target from FCF standpoint.
  • Support finance and operations teams to smoothly run CAPEX process (analysis of the request, understanding of the budget & financial metrics like ROI, payback period etc., supporting the approval process, release of the purpose code, asset capitalization etc.)
  • Support the finance team in managing the key business cycles: strategy plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve free cash flow as well as corrective action plans as needed.
  • Lead various process improvements initiatives to enhance financial visibility to improve operations, drive standard work & automatization.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Required Qualifications

This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & CAPEX management. Knowledge level is comparable to a master's and bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). Being a graduate of GEV leadership programs is a plus.

Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills. Independence in the execution, proactiveness and strong critical thinking. Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze, resolve problems and apply lean in daily work. Established project management skills.
