In this position the Senior Engineering Manager - Engineering Programs will provide leadership to a diverse technical team of dedicated engineers and scientists focused on the design and development of GEVH new plant reactor technologies across the globe. The Engineering Program leader will be accountable for the development of new plant engineering proposals, execution of early works agreements and new product developments. Additional responsibilities will include ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of early works projects and new product developments.

Essential Responsibilities
As the Senior Engineering Manager - Engineering Programs, you will:
- Report solid line to the General Manager, Advanced Application Engineering.
- Serve as the Engineering Leader accountable for new plant proposal developments including partnering with the corresponding Sales/Commercial Leaders, Product Manager, internal Engineering teams and external Engineering teams to deliver on our customer commitments.
- Accountable for early works execution by working with functional engineering leadership to drive an understanding of the departures from our standard designs and then build proposal estimates, schedules, risk registers to support business reviews and customer deliveries.
- Ensure the development of the teams technical and leadership talent/depth.
- Ensure the development of Engineering partners on GEVH technologies and processes.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other internal engineering team managers, business leaders, project and program managers and other stakeholders.
- Interface with external partners, customers, and other applicable country specific regulatory agencies, as required on technical issues for opportunity development.
- Provide leadership supporting performance and program management of assigned work and ensure on-time fulfillment of engineering commitments in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, industry standards and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Provide guidance and manage external resources to ensure the quality of deliverables, enable flexibility and improved cost positions.
- Support commercial and marketing opportunities to develop new business opportunities.
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of GEVH.
- Support GEVH initiatives, process improvement and simplification.
- Ensure adherence to GEVH's standards for nuclear safety and compliance.
- Partner with business teams and present product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leads across GEVH.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related science or technical discipline.
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in the nuclear industry or equivalent large scale new build experience in the power industry.
Eligibility Requirements
- Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

- EPC experience and knowledge; specifically, power plant.
- Understanding of nuclear industry and technology.

- Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding and capability of the business.
The base pay range for this position is $148K - $209K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 9/12/25.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
