Join GE Vernova Digital as a Regional Sales Director MENAT. Reporting to the GM EMEA of Grid Software business, you will be responsible for developing a high-performance commercial organisation and driving sustainable regional growth. You'll accelerate software sales in collaboration with our cross functional teams, in region and globally. You'll bring to this role the demonstrated ability and desire to partner with customers in their digital transformation and energy transition journeys. It is required to have exceptional business acumen and outcome selling skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.

  • Be recognised within the Energy/Utility market as a key thought leader in driving all levels of strategy, vision, and execution to deliver on the Commercial mission.
  • Lead large enterprise engagements with customers at the C-level.
  • Build, lead, and mentor the regional sales team.
  • Drive a customer-focus and results oriented high performance culture across all commercial teams.
  • Define, build, and implement a regional commercial strategy for Grid Software. Develop the go to market strategy across all countries in regions, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Influences policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
  • Bring operational rigor and discipline in forecasting, sales process, driving continuous commercial improvement.
  • Provide feedback and insights to shape and enhance the product and solution portfolio working alongside marketing, product management, support, and delivery.
  • Be a creative problem solver; recognise growth opportunities in the market and orchestrate all cross functional teams by creating, articulating, and executing against the strategic plan.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant leadership experience in software sales, business development and sales strategy.
  • Deep understanding of the Energy/Utility landscape in region.
  • Proven track record of sales success and building out new markets.
  • Thought leadership, comfortable with market and technology trends, uncertainty, develop content and domain expertise; articulate with ability to tell a compelling story and vision at C Level.
  • Ability to travel in region (30%+).

Desired Characteristics

  • Deep understanding of Grid Utility IT & OT landscape.
  • Strong desire to and enable sales professionals to embrace and use solution selling approaches that compel end customers to adopt and implement software to solve more strategic, comprehensive, mission critical business problems.
  • Technical acumen to interface with technologists, understand complex concepts and translate in a way that businesses or industry can understand.
  • Can demonstrate experience managing through ambiguity and a complex matrix environment.
  • Electrical Engineering degree preferred or related field.
