The Recommended Spare Part List (RSPL) Engineer is responsible for creating Recommended Spare Parts Lists for the Heavy Duty power plant technologies (Generator, Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine) in the GE Vernova fleet.

What you'll do
- Create recommended spare part lists for different standard inspections for non-standard generators and turbines.
- This includes obtaining as-shipped unit BoMs, identifying the relevant sections within the BoM as per the scope of the standard inspection, identifying and categorizing the recommended spare parts for each section based on the Standard Work document. The RSPL Engineer must be able to update the list based on the in-service modifications captured for the unit. As a final step, the RSPL Engineer ensure that the spare parts are available in PLM and in the relevant ERP.
- Validate the recommended spare part lists created for standard generators and turbines and update them with the impact of the in-service modifications.
- Continuously improve the processes and tools related to recommended spare part list creation.
- Drive projects that improve/develop the accuracy of the spare parts lists.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Work Instructions, Standard Work & trainings for recommended spare part list creation process.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering or Mechatronics
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend technical documentation such as technical drawings, Bill of Materials, material specifications, electrical schematic diagrams, system block diagrams, and recommended spare part lists
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be fluent in Writing/Speaking/Reading in English
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn business operating systems
- Ability to work in a cohesive, cooperative, and professional manner
- Detail-oriented, organized, conscientious team player with a strong sense of ownership
What will make you stand out
- Experience with legacy GE Heavy Duty technologies (e.g. fleet management, configuration management, design engineer, application engineer, outage engineer, or other supporting engineering roles) , especially related to generators
- Reading technical documentation in French and/or German

- Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
- This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
