Job Purpose
The Project Manager will manage equipment, facility or infrastructure projects. They will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Your focus is on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. You will co-ordinate the cross functional team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for small and medium size projects and/or Deputy Project Manager for Large Turn-Key Grid Projects. Projects will be in Norway and/or Sweden.

These types of projects include engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects, primarily based on GE products and GE Grid solutions for Electrical Infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • To develop in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines.
  • To understand key business drivers
  • Being able to cooperate in and across multiple teams
  • Being able to make good judgement to propose different solutions outside of set parameters

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or bachelor's Degree within Electrical Engineering (Elkraft), or strong proven electrical knowledge/experience
  • Experience in Project Management is a plus, especially in Electrical Infrastructure projects
  • Technical skills and analytic thinking
  • Being able to work independently
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (mainly Scandinavia)
  • Primarily working from GE Vernova Office in Oslo, minimum 3 days a week
