Job Description Summary
The Project Management Office Director (PMO) is responsible for developing and maintaining high standards by establishing best in class project management methodologies, standards, and tools. This position communicates to and aligns with Executive Management on all projects within the program portfolio. The PMO director oversees the project management process including governance, project controls team leadership, monitoring, prioritization, communication, reporting, and quality controls. The PMO Director should have a proven track record of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices and substantial team leadership experience with a focus on team development, stakeholder accountability management, and relationship building.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide project governance for the Advanced Nuclear project portfolio as well as lead a team of project controls professionals.
- Continue to drive the project delivery organization to align with Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines, quality standards and company requirements.
- Seek implementation efficiencies to meet or exceed the financial expectations established at project initiation.
- Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
- Monitor compliance with project policies and standards throughout project execution.
- Monitor and communicate benefits realization during post implementation to ensure project commitments are achieved
- Coach and mentor project management practitioners and share knowledge of best practices.
- Set annual performance targets for direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
- Lead team composed of Project Controls Leaders, Project Risk Leaders, Project Cost Analysist, and Work Force Planning and Scheduling personnel to drive accountability and standard work in our project controls.
- Support Project Managers for the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope and on budget.
- Influence cross functional/departmental subject matter experts to foster ownership and accountability for success.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years managing complex projects
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management Processes and Tools
OR
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum of 15 years managing complex projects
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management Processes and Tools

Desired Characteristics:
- Project Management (PMP) certification highly desired
- Background in Lean is preferred
- Nuclear industry experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable/proficient at providing written and oral reports to executive management.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills in large multi-functional projects.
The base pay range for this position is $170,000-210,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 6/27/2025.
