Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy
• Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
• Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline
• Manage problems and schedule changes
• Update ERP system
• Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
• Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
• Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work
• Very good written and oral Englisch skills
