Job Description Summary
As a student engineer of Product Services Engineering (PSE) Aero Performance, the person will support the Aero Performance team to develop a NPSS environment (Python based code) for critical thermodynamical tools that were developed using CWS (Mathlab based code). These tools are used to characterize the fleet performance for several Aeroderivative products. By updating these tools, the team will be capable to extend the evaluation coverage for new configurations within the installed fleet.

As a Product Services Engineering (PSE) Aero Performance Intern you will support the Aero Performance team to develop a NPSS environment (Python based code) for critical thermodynamic tools that were developed using CWS (Mathlab based code).

These tools are used to characterize the fleet performance for several aeroderivative products. By updating these tools, the team will be capable to extend the evaluation coverage for new configurations within the installed fleet.
Activities:
- Create the thermodynamic model environment by running the NPSS language (Python based), using the formerly language CWS (Matlab based)
- Performance Tools migration
In addition, the intern will:
- Conduct periodic follow-up/report-out sessions
- Propose the most suitable solutions for modeling/validation
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Student in Computer Systems, Programming or related disciplines - with a graduation date in late 2026 or 2027
- Fundamental knowledge regarding development of algorithms or analytics (Matlab and Python knowledge is a must)
- Excellent communication/presentation skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English for technical presentations.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Enthusiasm and resilience to overcome obstacles
